| Blythe Danner tells LifeStyles
Magazine that while "confidence
and composure came naturally"
to her daughter Gwyneth Paltrow,
it was the strength of their family
life that "contributed to Paltrow's
intense feelings of security."
Blythe, of course, was married to
the late Bruce Paltrow for 32 years,
and Paltrow has told reporters she
has "the best family in the
world." Indeed, she often praises
her mother's good advice and claims
to still listen to her: "She
told me not to let all the outside
stuff in the business permeate my
life and to stay above the fray."
Gwyneth adds that today, she "would
absolutely never do" some of
the films she did in the past: "I'll
change my lifestyle, as opposed
to selling out" by "doing
something that makes me feel horrible
about myself as a person."
